| The Denver Rescue Mission donate page uses 128-bit
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which is the industry-standard
protocol for secure transactions. SSL encrypts all information (credit
card, personal data, etc.) exchanged between the Denver Rescue Mission
and you (the donor) using a unique session key. These layers of privacy
protection make certain information cannot be viewed if intercepted by
unauthorized parties.
Currently, the donate page is hosted on a secure server with Service
Network (https://www.servicenetwork.com). Service Network processes all
online donations using Authorize.Net payment processors – a solution
provider for secure e-commerce transactions. These organizations use
donor payment information only for the requested transaction and in no
way uses the data for their own purposes. All credit card information
is held for 30 days. After 30 days the credit card information is removed
from the database to ensure donor security.
What is "Returning Donor Login"?
Donors have the ability to create a login which will store donor contact
information only (credit card information is not collected or stored).
Once the account is created, donors will be able to login and have
their
data
inserted into matching fields automatically. Donors can update and
change their information at any time. The information collected is
used only for the intended purpose and convenience of donors. - Create
an account now!
When on the donation page you will notice the following signs that your
information will be securely transmitted:
The URL of the site displays HTTPS rather than HTTP
The padlock appears in the lower right corner of the browser (Netscape
users the padlock will be closed)
All our transactions run through this initial address: https://www.servicenetwork.com/
Should you have further concerns about donating online, feel free to
